Question: What is the true definition of Globalisation?
Answer: Princess Diana's death.
Question: How?
Answer: An English princess with an Egyptian boyfriend crashes in a
French tunnel, driving a German car with a Dutch engine, driven by a
Belgian who was drunk on Scottish whisky, (check the bottle before you
change the spelling) followed closely by Italian Paparazzi, on Japanese
motorcycles; treated by an American doctor, using Brazilian medicines.
This is sent to you by an Malaysian, using Bill Gates' American
technology , and you're probably reading this on your computer, that
uses Taiwanese chips, and a Korean monitor, assembled by Bangladeshi
workers in a Singapore plant, transported by Indian lorry-drivers,
hijacked by Indonesians, unloaded by Maori wharfies, and trucked to you
by Vietnamese illegals.....
That, my friends, is Globalisation!!
----------------------------------------------------------------
There once was a king who offered a prize to the artist who would
paint the best picture of Peace. Many artists tried. The king looked at
all the
pictures. But there were only two he really liked, and he had to
choose
between them.
One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror for
peaceful
towering mountains all around it. Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy
white clouds. All who saw this picture thought that it was a perfect
picture
of peace.
The other picture had mountains, too. But these were rugged and bare.
Above was an angry sky, from which rain fell and in which lightning
played.
Down the side of the mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not
look
peaceful at all.
But when the king looked closely, he saw behind the waterfall a tiny
Bush growing in a crack in the rock. In the bush a mother bird had built
her
nest. There, in the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother
bird on her nest in perfect peace.
Which picture do you think won the prize? The king chose the second
picture. Do you know why?
"Because," explained the king, "Peace does not mean to be in a place
where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. Peace means to be in
the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart. That is
the real
meaning of peace."

Astro subsribers take down yer pants, the second richest man in Malaysia , owner of maxis and astro is gonna screw u
as taken from http://www.jeffooi.com/archives/2004/08/astro_subscribe_1.php :
As new payTV operator MiTV is feverishly trying to launch its service
in December, Astro is conspiring to lock-in its current subscribers
like fish-in-the-net without their realising it.
As it is, Astro is sending out notices to tell subscribers that they
should be receiving a "new improved security smart card", during the
1st week of September.
The existing card will not work after Sep 30, 2004. Take it or leave it!
Now, there is a catch. Coming with this new card is a Astro Subscriber
agreement.
If you go to Astro website, you should know that, by accepting the new
card and activating it, you are tied to Astro for another 12 months
thereafter!
If you decide to stop the service from Astro after the activation of
the "new" card, you can be charged an "agreed fee" of RM500! (see
screenshot below)
Some subscribers have used Astro for more than 12 months - some years
- now comes the next 12-month force-stay period after the activaiton
of the "new" card.

Some intresting Facts about Malaysia you wouldn't bother to know
OR they wouldn't want to highlight
total National Debt as of is at RM 194.56 billions!!!
source:world Bank [http://www.worldbank.org/data/countrydata/aag/mys_aag.pdf]
revenues: USD$25.2 billion
expenditures: USD$28.9 billion, including capital expenditures of $9.4 billion (2004 est.)
Were spending more than we earn!! oh gosh!
Source:World CIA factbook [http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/my.html]
Mean While For the US
revenues: USD$1.946 trillion
expenditures: USD$2.052 trillion, including capital expenditures of NA (2002 est.)
1 trillion = 1000 billion
Aahahah ignoring inflation, their annual budget is enough to run malaysia for 70 years!!! lol
Since gov's money theoritically is our money , so gov debt is our debt too!! so sleep in peace, knowing were all in debt =P not to mention the bank loan u have!!
Given that the malaysian population is at 25.58 million
source:Bank Negara [http://www.bnm.gov.my/index.php?ch=111]
so,
total national debt/total population = 194.56 billion / 25.58 million = 7 605.94214
Meaning we each have a debt of RM 7605.94214, so Congragulation , your 3 month old baby has a debt of 7k++!!! lol (credit goes to grace for her idea, of calculating the debt per person)
